Shortstown Airship Tours
About the game

Shortstown Airship Tours is a free flying game made for the people of Shortstown, Cardington, Cople and Cotton End. You take the R102 airship up from the mooring tower, fly a gentle tour over the villages, spot as many of the sights as you can, keep your passengers happy, and bring her home to the mast. It works on a phone with touch controls and on a computer with the keyboard.
Your score comes from the sights you visit, how smoothly you fly, how happy the passengers are, your mooring, and your time. The best score per pilot goes on the weekly and all-time leaderboard. Every flight is checked on our server before it counts, so the board stays fair.
The sights
- The Cardington Sheds
- The Shorts Building
- The market on Beauvais Square
- Shortstown Village Hall
- The R101 crew memorial
- The R101 memorial in Cardington Cemetery
- The Met Office research station
- St Mary's Church, Cardington
- John Bunyan's birthplace, Harrowden
The Square and the Shortstown Local Produce Market are on the tour, so once you have flown over them, come and visit in person.
Privacy
Pilot names are picked from the game's own lists (a rank, a first name and a surname), so nobody's real name goes on the board and every name is family friendly. We keep your chosen pilot name and score for the leaderboard, and nothing else that identifies you. Anything unsuitable is removed. The game sets no cookies and uses no accounts; your chosen pilot name and settings are saved in your own browser only. Flight logs are kept for 30 days to check scores, then deleted.
